MANAGING DIRECTOR:
Darren Murray founded Guiding Light Architecture in November 2019. With over 30 years experience in Architecture, Structural Design and Mechanical Design elements throughout the construction industry, he helps clients realize their development ideas. His portfolio includes a diverse array of projects, such as small-scale Residential Extensions, bespoke New Dwellings, Barn Conversions, large-scale Residential Apartment buildings, Hotel Complexes valued at £32 million, the restoration of a 17th-Century Grade I listed Manor House, high-end London Shops, and various Commercial and Agricultural premises. Specializing in Computer Aided Design, Darren provides architectural and technical information, turning every client’s concept into reality.

CHARLOTTE MURRAY.
Charlotte joined GLA Ltd, part of Guiding Light Architecture, in October 2020, bringing years of valuable experience managing over 40 holiday let properties for a local Cotswold letting company. With her excellent multitasking skills, Charlotte plays a key role in the daily organization of the company. Her passion for photography complements her work, allowing her to provide professional-level photographs that beautifully showcase some of our current and completed architectural design projects.

JOHN HALLAM - M.C.I.A.T.
John has over 50 years of experience in architectural design and the construction industry. He launched his business, John Hallam Associates Ltd, in 1994, based locally in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.
The company achieved remarkable success, working with prestigious clients such as Four Pillars Hotels (DeVere), Daylesford Organic, JCB, and Builders Ede, among others. After his retirement in 2019, John still wished to contribute to the field of architecture. He now shares his extensive knowledge as a consultant for Guiding Light Architecture, collaborating with professionals like Darren Murray.
